Juvenile Hearing Board
The Juvenile Hearing Board promotes public health, safety, morals, and the general welfare in and for Hopkinton. The Board shall hear cases from the Chief of Police, or his designee, concerning the Town residents who are under the age of eighteen. The charges should consist of; violating the criminal laws of the State of Rhode Island, limited to wayward, misdemeanor and status offenses, and violations of Town Ordinances. The membership of the Board will consist of not less than three nor more than five persons, residents of the Town of Hopkinton.
The Juvenile Hearing Board meets the first Thursday and second Thursday if needed of each month at 1 pm at the Hopkinton Police station.
