Tax Payment Methods

Methods of paying taxes: 
 
Electronic Debit (ACH):
 
You can have your real estate and/or tangible installments debited directly from your checking or savings account. This service is free of charge on all accounts that are paid current. To enroll in this program, please complete an ACH authorization form and return it to the Collector's office.

Payments postmarked on or before the 18th of each quarter are considered timely. If the postmark is illegible, the payment is posted according to the date it was received at Town Hall. 
  
If you would like a receipt, please include your e-mail address with your payment, or you may include a self-addressed stamped envelope. 
 
Drop Box:
 
There is a night drop off box at Town Hall. It is located outside and against the building between the 2 Tax Collector’s doors.  
 
In-Person at the Tax Collector's Office:
 
Payments may be made in cash, by check, or by credit card. Please be advised that there is a 3% convenience fee for all credit card payments.
 
Online by credit card:
 
You can pay your bill online at www.tax.vgsi.com. In order to make an online payment, you will need your tax account number and a credit card. Please be advised that there is a 3% convenience fee for all credit card payments.
